TOPBRIGHT wins Baby Innovation Award 2026 in the Netherlands
Mummy Bunny receives industry award for innovation, material quality, and learning concept

Fürth, February 23, 2026
The interactive toy Mummy Bunny from the Care Pets line by TOPBRIGHT has been awarded the Baby Innovation Award 2026 in the Netherlands. This prestigious industry award recognizes innovative products in the baby and toddler segment that stand out for their quality, functionality, and educational value.
Jury's decision
In its decision, the expert jury particularly highlighted the high-quality materials, the well-designed interactive features, and the educational value. Mummy Bunny enables children to learn through play, take on responsibility at an early age, and experience caring for a pet.
Interactive role play with educational value
The Care Pets line by TOPBRIGHT – currently including Mummy Bunny, Dr. Dog, and Baby Koala – combines cuddly plush design with interactive technology. Role play, caregiving, and comforting situations specifically support imagination, empathy, and emotional development. Children learn to recognize feelings and needs, respond to them, and take responsibility – in a playful, age-appropriate, and intuitive way. After Dr. Dog was honored with the Zabawka Roku Award in Poland in 2025, the Baby Innovation Award 2026 in the Netherlands once again confirms TOPBRIGHT's high standards of quality and innovative educational concepts. For TOPBRIGHT, this is another milestone on the way to becoming a preferred strategic partner for European retailers.
Care Pets – Mummy Bunny in detail
Mummy Bunny is aimed at children aged 36 months and older. While playing, children discover the joy of caring for a pet and responding to its needs and emotions. A color-changing LED heart indicates the bunny's mood, with each color representing a different mood. Feeding the interactive carrot or petting the bunny are ways to make Mummy Bunny feel better. The play experience is complemented by lovingly designed accessories and an interactive house with light and sound effects, in which a little baby rabbit appears.
Various characters – one strong concept
In addition to Mummy Bunny, two other Care Pets characters are available: Dr. Dog and Baby Koala. Each model has its own functions and play impulses, but follows the same basic educational principle: children learn to care for, comfort, and look after others. In 2026, the Care Pets line will be expanded to include Poo Buddy, who playfully accompanies children through potty training, and Smiley Monkey, who teaches dental hygiene in an age-appropriate and positive way. With these additions, TOPBRIGHT is addressing further everyday learning and care topics.
Distribution in the Netherlands
The Dutch market is served by TOPBRIGHT in cooperation with its distribution partner MERCATOR TRADING, which is responsible for distributing the Care Pets line in the Netherlands.
